Smiley Hall

Albert K. Smiley Hall (1908).  The first residence hall built on the campus of Pomona College, Claremont, California.  This is a great campus for walking around and enjoying and appreciating the lush landscaping that the college buildings are set in.  Clean and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the Southern California megalopolis.

Was Albert the guy who began the whole : ) thing? Probably not. It’s a beautiful campus photographed and photo shopped by a real pro…and that’s no joke. Come up to Westwood sometime and give UCLA a “beauty shot” treatment sometime, Ollie.

    • Thanks, Stanley, I scoped out UCLA via Google maps, and it just looks like a bunch of low income high rise apartments to me.
