Adjacent to Red Hill BBQ is the Red Hill Coffee Shop in Rancho Cucamonga, California. When I captured this image I was attracted to the geometry of the bui;ding from this angle of view, the paint job, the signage and the character sitting on the bench outside the building. A weird group of details to be attracted to, but the totality of the details and the overall scene trigger my mind to conjure up some interesting scenarios.

Red Hill BBQ, Rancho Cucamonga, California. I love the wagon wheels, pot bellied stove and the oil barrel pit with the smoke coming off it. There is real fragrance to real barbeque.
A fixture on Foothill Boulevard (Route 66) in Rancho Cucamonga since 1955, with live music in the lounge four nights a week, and menu items like jumbo crab cocktail, Caesar salad tossed table side and Chateaubriand for two carved table side with both Bordelaise and Bernaise sauce, the Magic Lamp Inn is a throwback to an earlier time.

This was the gauntlet of palms that I passed through, avoiding the photography police, while trying to capture some images on my last visit to Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. The mall cops never caught me this time, but I kept moving, and did not use a tripod to avoid discovery.

This is Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This image does not do the dome the justice it deserves, it is quite distinctive and shiny, effectively separating the church effectively from the commercial structures across the street. It is likely impossible that drivers on the adjacent north bound lanes of I-15 will fail to notice this structure. Since many of those drivers are heading up I-15 to Las Vegas they might consider stopping here to offer some prayers for success in the casinos, couldn’t hurt, could it?
Captured two days before the end of the winter season, Mt San Antonio of the San Gabriel Mountains range looming over some of the homes on Elk Cove Court in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This is currently my favorite image in my collection, I am very happy with the painterly look that I achieved with this.
